78 Days

As NATO bombs Serbia in 1999, three sisters start a video diary on Hi8 at their countryside home once their father is drafted. The girls record one another picking cherries, applying make-up, bickering and assisting their mother with the cooking, while the war slowly closes in on their fragile little world. A Serbian drama told entirely through home video. Original title: 78 dana.
