Horror director Adam Green, playing himself, is making a documentary about monster art when retired detective William Dekker gets in touch. Dekker claims monsters are real and live in a hidden underground world he calls 'The Marrow' - and that he knows where one of its entrances is. Green and his cameraman start filming him, unsure if he's telling the truth or simply mad. With Ray Wise and creature designs by artist Alex Pardee.
