The Execution of Gary Glitter

In an imagined Britain that has brought back the death penalty, the film follows the arrest and trial of the disgraced pop star Gary Glitter under a new capital crimes law. It is told like a television documentary, with commentators, politicians and ordinary people giving their views on hanging, mixed with dramatised scenes of the case. A fictional what-if that asks how the public would react.
