A documentary crew follows Masaru Daisato, a second-rate, third-generation superhero who grows to giant size to fight the bizarre monsters attacking Japan. Between battles he has to deal with an agent who wants to cover him in ads, a superhero grandfather with Alzheimer's and neighbours who are fed up with the noise and destruction he causes. A deadpan mockumentary and the directing debut of comedian Hitoshi Matsumoto (original title: Dai-Nipponjin).
