Photographer Patrick gets a letter from his sister Caroline, who joined a remote religious commune abroad after rehab. He travels there with two VICE journalists to film a story about it. At first the place looks like a peaceful paradise, run by a charismatic man everyone calls Father - but the crew soon senses that not everyone there is free to leave.
